Community Meeting Summary — May 2026

So sorry about the delay on May's notes. The squirrels ran off with our notebooks, and it took some doing to get them back. Here's everything we covered.

After a couple of region rollbacks and no small amount of swearing, Tobias and Nyxx's home in Lunamere Tenebrae has finished its move to a new location. That frees up a large chunk of land in Tenebrae, our Adult region, which is already being divided and landscaped. A few unique new parcels will be available for purchase soon, so keep an eye on the Parcel Vendor at the estate landing.

Speaking of parcels, there are several available across Lunamere right now. You can find them at the Parcel Vendor or by spotting the yellow spaces on the world map.

If you love it here, spread the word! When someone you refer claims a parcel, pays their first full month of tier, and mentions your name, you'll receive a L$500 referral bonus as our thank-you.

We welcomed a couple of new residents in May, and Tealeaf Treasures has opened a satellite shop in Lunamere Lumora! The store specializes in androgynous alt-fantasy jewelry and accessories, so be sure to stop by!

Pride Month is here, and we've got two events to celebrate it.

Pride Prom: Saturday, June 13th, 12–2pm SLT. It's time for the prom you deserved but may never have gotten. Join us in all your rainbow-brigade glory, whether that's fabulously formal or casual rainbow chaos. Nyxx Moonchild is on decks with Host Tobias by his side.

Pride Skate: Saturday, June 27th, 11am–1pm SLT. We're lacing up our rollerskates and hitting the rink! Join DJ Mer (Mary Layton) and DJ Nyxx Moonchild, with Host Bee, for two hours of fun. Dance, skate, or sit and chill. There's no wrong way to celebrate Pride.

The Lunamere Book Club continues its pursuit of entertainment and the written word with Cocaine Blues by Kerry Greenwood, the novel behind the delightful Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. Phryne Fisher is a woman up for an adventure: silk gloves and jazz clubs, a dancing mystery man, and murder! Dig in via physical book, e-book, or audiobook, or watch the first episode of the show. Join us Thursday, June 18th at 6pm SLT at the Lunamere Community Center to share your thoughts with fellow readers. The club is led by Aurora Oysternatz and Drue Gossipgirl.

In other news, Second Life turns 23 in June! SL23B runs June 18th through July 19th, with this year's theme being The Golden Age of Hollywood. Lunamere will have its own exhibit on the grounds, and some familiar faces will be performing: Nyxx Moonchild, Mary Layton, Ajay McDowwll, and Vyn Odinson are all slated to DJ - Take a peek at our community calendar to find out when!
