✦ Getting Started ✦
Finding your place in Lunamere should feel like discovery, not paperwork. Here's how to claim your parcel and settle into your new home within the mists.
Finding Available Land
There are three ways to see what's open:
• Visit the Estate Rental Office in-world - there is a vendor where you can browse and teleport directly to available parcels.
• Check the Available Land page on this website - current listings are posted there.
• Search in Second Life via the World Map - open the map, find the Legend on the right side, check the box for "Land Sale," and available parcels will appear as bright yellow areas on the map. Double-click any highlighted parcel to teleport there and explore.

Step 1: Purchase the Parcel
Once you've found the parcel you want, right-click the land and choose "Buy This Land." The Buy Land window will open and confirm that your Second Life membership level will not change, Linden Lab land fees remain as they were, and you will pay L$100 for the parcel itself. This L$100 is a non-refundable administrative fee and does not count toward your weekly tier.

Before completing the purchase, please read the covenant carefully - it's linked in the Buy Land window and also available on this website and in our Discord server. Check the box confirming "I Agree to the Covenant Defined Above" and click Purchase. At this point the land is reserved as yours, but you must complete Step 2 to secure your claim.

Step 2: Pay Your Tier
Each parcel has a tier box located near its entrance. Right-click it and select Pay. Payment options are available in increments of 1-4 weeks, and you may prepay up to 8 weeks in advance. Once your first payment is made, your claim is secured. Welcome to the community!
Grace Periods
Your tier box will begin whispering reminders 3 days before your tier is due. If your tier goes unpaid, a 5-day grace period begins. During this time you'll receive automated login messages and a notecard reminder from an estate manager, and your parcel will remain intact. If you pay during the grace period, your payment first covers any overdue days before adding future time - so if you're 4 days late and pay for one week, your meter will show 3 days remaining.
If the grace period ends without payment, your parcel will be reclaimed, your belongings returned - including no-copy items, which may be lost forever in SL's fickle winds - and the land listed as available again.
Should you need your due date adjusted to fall on a specific day, just contact an estate manager and we'll sort it out.
